Milestones Schedule Third and Fifth Grade…
Today is the last day of school before winter vacation! Students return on Thursday, January 5th.
Remember that you can access Read 180 or System 44 books from any computer with your login. Use this link to the Team 180 page of our website to access your online books! Keep reading over the break! FoodFinderGA is a free smartphone app developed by a Georgia Public Schools graduate - it’s available on the Apple App Store or Google Play right now (search: foodfinder), or online at www.foodfinderga.org.
The app creates a 100% anonymous, direct connection between students & families who need food and their closest free food providers. Team 180 has been counting down the days until we can show how much we've GROWN! On December 14th we will retake the Reading Inventory. This will give us updated Lexile information that will be used to evaluate our progress and set new goals. Students will also update their Lexile range to help them make better book choices. Ask your child about their "Meet or Beat" score. This number reflects the specific growth that we are aiming for based on the student's grade level and initial score. After taking the Reading Inventory, System 44 students will also retake the Phonics Inventory. I can't wait to see how much Team 180 has grown!!!
