Meet Mrs. LarsonI am originally from Pennsylvania and went to college at Temple University in Philadelphia. I have also lived in Maryland and Minnesota. My husband and I moved to Georgia in 1999 and we will celebrate our twenty-fifth wedding anniversary in September! We have a twenty-five year old son and a twenty-two year old daughter who both live and work in the Atlanta area. We also have a seven year old 'fur baby' named Comet. He is a very spoiled Shetland sheepdog!
When I'm not at school I love to bake, read, and go walking with Comet. Our family loves to travel, especially to the beach. We also enjoy being at the lake and spending time with friends. This is my twenty-third year in teaching. I taught in Pennsylvania and Maryland before getting married and becoming a stay at home mom. I have been teaching in Cobb County, at Lewis Elementary, since 2003. I have taught first grade, fourth grade, and EIP reading and math with second, fourth, and fifth graders. Our intermediate reading lab is now in it's 7th year at Lewis, and I am SO proud to work with our Read 180 and System 44 Reading Rockstars!!! |
