Meet Mrs. Larson
I am originally from Pennsylvania and went to college in Philadelphia. I have also lived in Maryland and Minnesota. My husband and I moved to Georgia in 1999 and we will celebrate our twenty-first anniversary in September! We have a nineteen year old son who is a sophomore at Georgia Highlands College and a sixteen year old daughter who is a junior at Kennesaw Mountain HS. Last year we added an adorable Shetland sheepdog to our family.
When I'm not at school I love to bake, read, and go walking with my Sheltie. Our family loves to travel - especially to the beach. We also enjoy camping and spending time with friends.
This is my seventeenth year in teaching. I taught in Pennsylvania and Maryland before getting married and becoming a stay at home mom. I have been teaching at Lewis Elementary since 2003. I have taught first grade, fourth grade, and this year I will be the Read 180 teacher for our school.
